Services
Mountain Air Heating and Cooling recommends a scheduled maintenance program for your heating and cooling unit due to the fact that having your equipment maintained properly will ensure that it works when needed.
In the event that your unit is not working our maintenance program customers benefit from PRIORITY service and a discount on any repairs.
We will diagnose problems such as leaks or frayed wiring and can make sure your unit is working efficiently to prevent high energy bills.
If you have an HVAC unit that is six years old it may be beneficial to upgrade you to a more cost-efficient system which will save on energy bills as well as make you eligible for tax credits and rebates.
Q: Will turning my thermostat down low cool my home faster?
A: Turning your thermostat way down will not cool your home any faster it just causes the unit to run longer and if you set the unit too low you are taking the chance of freezing the unit.
Q: Will a dirty filter or dirty condenser affect the cooling?
A: Yes, they will affect air flow and therefore affect the cooling and can possibly cause your unit to freeze up if the air flow is severely restricted.
To keep your system at maximum efficiency change the filters regularly and make sure the condenser is clean.
No one likes having their heat/air system die on them but the folks at Mountain Air made it as painless as possible.
I was given a quote for 3 different systems and had them all explained to me.
I did appreciate the service technician taking the time to go over the pros and cons of each system even explaining the effect each system would have on my electric and propane bills.
Even got a lesson on programming the thermostat.
The installation went smoothly.
Everything was cleaned up when they were done - they didn't even trample the landscaping by the unit.
