First of all, it was Noah Butler who arrived at my door not Justin. Noah was professional and checked many things in my home: water heaters, air ducts, etc. and gave me prices on the costs for each. I had asked Sunset to send a furnace filter with the technician and Noah was not aware of this. He suggested Amazon, Ace or Home Depot. None of these places had the correct size and Sunset does but carry filters anymore. Ace gave me a name & number of a filter company and they ordered it for me. It will arrive on the 2nd working day.

Our service technician Nathan arrived on time and immediately started to service our furnace. During the service Nathan explained concerns found while running the test of the furnace. Once complete, Nathan explained clearly concerns he had found and what we needed to do to correct the concern. We also discussed what it would take to replace our 18 year old furnace. Nathan is a personable, professional and very easy to talk to.

Eric was fantastic - personable, thorough, he didn't rush or seem in a hurry. He answered all my questions and made you feel there were no stupid questions. He even tried to get me a better deal if I combined work (and succeeded). He explained my systems in detail, which are new to me since I'm from Southern California. Highly recommend him and if the company is as good as he is then I'd recommend them too!

We called Sunset this morning to come take a look at a smoking electrical switch we found in our house. They were able to send out Bailey Rotan within a few hours of us calling and she was able to address the problem and fix it for us quickly. She was great! We had a few problems after the AC was installed. Sunset couldn't have handled it better. Never charged us, sent as many people as it took. And in the end, a really smart fella named Cody spent two days at our house creating a whole new pathway for the AC. Really, really impressed by their customer commitment. And be sure to ask for Cody.he's as good as it gets.

Noah did a great job with our repair estimate. They were really backed up, so, like others, my original appointment kept getting moved out hours, then days, then a week. But they had a cancellation today and were able to work me in, and Noah showed up right when he said he would, discussed the problem, consulted with his colleagues, and got me the repair estimate right away. He even cheerfully tolerated my too crazy dog jumping all over him! (The dog gets only two stars for her behavior, but Noah gets five!)

Zach was everything you'd want in an HVAC/AC systems inspector. Ten years of experience, friendly, efficient, and honest. He checked multiple components on both my old AC and my less aged gas furnace. He provided the good and the bad, life expectancy, possible upgrades, and the state of the pricing market. Just replaced my 29yr old AC unit and 17yr old furnace. My service tech, Shavon was Awesome! Professional, personable and knowledgeable. She spent close to 2 hrs diagnosing, suggesting options with no high pressure tactics. That was on a Saturday. Monday morning the installer was on the job as promised. Veniamin and his partner did an excellent job! The electrician as well. Great service, great company!

I had a complicated ac install and they went above and beyond to get it taken care of, without any additional charges. They were professional and kept me informed of what they were doing and why. They showed up on time every time. They might be a bit more expensive but they make up for it with quality equipment and outstanding service. Edit: I just realized they replaced my furnace water pump as well and reinstallled the drain tubes so they were up to code without saying a word about it. I can't get over what a stellar job this company has done.

Taylor was great to work with. I just bought my home, and he helped educate me on some things regarding my HVAC system. He is a consummate professional who takes pride in what he does, as it is evident by the service he provides. A great technician. Had my new furnace and AC installed less than 48 hrs from calling them. Tad went over the pricing and packages with me and was super knowledgeable and nice. The install team was fantastic. Unfortunately it was the end of our HVACs life. Our HVAC was less common, a large duel unit that left limited options for a replacement. Pretty quickly we discovered replacing this particular unit would be a special case. Our experience with other companies consisted of chasing down bids where we were told to expect a quote within day or two followed by having to check back sometimes a week later and often times crickets. However, our experience working with a Sunset technician for replacing the unit was top notch.
We were given a quote very quickly along with all the details needed to make an informed decision to move forward with confidence. Dynamite service! Experience with installation crew was also wonderful. Excellent team and services! I could not recommend enough.

I'm always impressed with their responsiveness to schedule a visit. We recently had our AC serviced and after a heat wave, wasn't producing cool air.
