As cold weather gave way to spring, I noticed our 11-year old Lennox AC was running about 16 hours per day even in only 80 degree weather. Realizing something must be wrong, I contacted H-Town AC for service. They were fast to respond, even on a Sunday. Their team quickly diagnosed a refrigerant leak in the evaporator and showed me the location. Unfortunately, this is the second time this system has leaked in a similar place (even after the entire evaporator was replaced).

Given this, I asked for a cost estimate for replacing just the evaporator (with a different brand that is less known for leaks!) vs replacing the entire system with an upgraded higher SEER 2-stage or variable system. Given the high investment of modern HVACs, I also asked for similar estimates for other companies. With H-Town's excellent prices, professional service, and great communication, they were the clear winner!

Their team was willing to install the system the next day (though we waited until the weekend due to my availability that week). The install team was great! Very professional and took care to keep my carpets clean. We are very happy with our new variable speed system. If our second unit ever leaks (also for the second time!), we'll be giving H-Town AC a call again! Thanks!

My technician was prompt, polite and considerate. There were four units to service and he gave me clear assessments on each of them. He also gave me an estimate for some additional work I anticipated.

They gave me the best price overall. They also saved me $800 on a new coil because they said it might still be under warranty. After calling the manufacturer, they were right. Installers were great. Kept the area under the attic clean. Mark, the manager or owner was great to deal with. I will definitely work with these guys again in the future. I even recommended them to one of my neighbors today.

Absolutely the best. My second time to use them. A large national company wanted $1,300 to do a job on my AC. As it turned out, I had H-Town come out last year to do the same job on my other unit, so I had some idea that I was being taken. When I called to see if they could look up my old invoice, not only did they tell me the price ($925.00 cheaper than the big boys), but offered to be at my house in 45 minutes to fix it! AND THEY DID IT - for nearly a thousand dollars cheaper than the fraudsters who were there earlier in the day. Major props to this business. Perhaps some of the best service I have ever received from any business in 40 years.

We've been a customer for a few years and each they've come out we've gotten knowledgeable service for a fair price.

Our technician Billy Garcia was extremely helpful with explaining the issues and resolving them in a timely manner. We have a newly built home and the a/c was leaking fluid through the walls, it was really frustrating so I called h-town at around 8 am and by 1 pm Billy arrived that same day. Grateful for the quick turnaround time!

My issue was confusing, but Alex was flexible, kind, and very strong. He moved a full fridge on broken tile, all on his own. He then competently fixed the problem, and was always very respectful and kind. I will call them again, even when it is not an emergency.

Dmitry showed up at 4.40pm, Very friendly guy. He put on covers for his outside shoes before he stepped onto my carpet. He had fixed my house heater in less than 30 mins. I am not one to post reviews or recommendations but I felt I should with the service I got from H-Town A/C Repair. They replaced my 3.5 ton AC unit for half the price of the highest bid. I am a pretty picky customer and they met all my requests. They stand behind there service and products too. I solicited about 10 bids and H-Town was $5000 cheaper than the highest bid for a Trane unit.

The highest bid was from a contractor that was the lowest bid 2 years ago when I had my first unit replaced. I wish I would have found H-Town 2 years ago. I highly recommend you check them out. They have good reviews and I can confirm their high rating!

Ive used these guys numerous times and they are absolutely AMAZING. I wish other service companies were as affordable, straightforward and honest as these guys. I will gladly wait an extra day or two for service from h-town than get much worse service same-day from some other company. Can't recommend these guys enough

Despite the large number of service calls, they were able to accommodate a second-day service request at our required time. They called to warn us that they were running a little behind well in advance, and instead ended up arriving early. The service tech was very knowledgeable, diagnosed the issue quickly, and had the system up and running in nothing flat, even with going to pick up needed parts. Great job, great service, and the rate was about half of what was expected for the type of repair. Highly recommended!

I had my attic AC unit leaking. I called and they were able to come the same day. Semeon showed up on time, he was very knowledgeable and repaired the issue on the spot, he did an excellent job. It's the second time I used their services and would definitively recommend them.

The service was excellent. All pricing and options were explained clearly. The work was done quickly and competently. I especially like that he does background checks on all of his service employees. I found them to be friendly, capable and trustworthy. I had my air conditioner replaced about 10 years ago and it had never cooled the entire house properly and rusted out from the bottom requiring replacement. Kevin, the owner, explained the reason, solved the problem and now I need to wear a sweater in the house if I keep the air conditioner on too long. I couldn't be happier!
