Thornton Heating & Sheetmetal was started in 1973 by Larry Thornton. It was a family run business and is now solely owned by Matt Thornton. Under Matt's leadership, Thornton Heating continues to deliver exceptional quality and top-notch customer service the business has long been known for. We firmly believe that we are only as good as our employees.
We have the highest expectations of our staff, and they always deliver. Dan Stanhope, our shop foreman, started with us in 1997, and his wife Jeni became our office manager in 2005. Our office staff now includes Scott Huffman, our service manager, and McKenna Chase our bookkeeper. CJ Gorringe joined our staff as an estimator and project lead. Rodney Weaver, lead journeyman, joined our team in 2002 and Mike Menkee joined or team in 2008.
Mike brings many years of installation experience and custom fabrication. Bruce Hathaway started as our service tech in 2006. Since then we have hired eight other service techs with many years of combined experience.
