Services
Service Energy is a third-generation family-owned company that has been serving local residents and businesses since 1954.
A branded Liberty distributor, we acquired Paradee Oil Co. in 1988 and Poore's Propane in 1992.
Our goal is to deliver exceptional value to all our customers through great products, personal service and competitive prices.
We are energy conservation enthusiasts who take pride in helping customers achieve greater comfort while using less energy.
Over the last six decades, we've expanded our services to include propane and diesel fuels, heating and air conditioning, and septic.
Take showers instead of baths.
A five-minute shower will use about 7.5 gallons of hot water; filling a bathtub can use up to 20 gallons.
Choose ENERGY STAR(R): When purchasing new appliances, look for the ENERGY STAR(R) label.
The ENERGY STAR(R) rating program, developed through a partnership between the EPA and the U.S. Department of Energy in 1996, indicates which appliances are considered energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
Choose a high-efficiency dishwasher - they use 25 percent less energy than conventional models.
Heating your home with Oilheat means you're relying on a fuel that is safe, efficient and reliable - and you get the security of knowing all your home heating and cooling needs are protected by Service Energy's commitment to quality.
Oilheat is non-explosive and will not burn in a liquid state.
Heating oil is non-explosive, and must be heated to more than 140 degrees Fahrenheit - the temperature at which it begins to vaporize - before it will even light on fire.
A match dropped into heating oil will go out - just as if it had been dropped into water.
