A properly installed system is easy to use, operates automatically & requires very little maintenance.
1. Other brand panels have hold-down straps across the whole array.
That means more penetrations in the roof.
Heliocol does not need these on most installations.
2. Most other brands use reinforced rubber hose with metal hose clamps to connect the panels.
These generic connectors look and perform like they sound, unsightly and leaky requiring the hose clamps to be tightened regularly.
Heliocol uses an "O" ring and compression clamp design that is not only a superior connection, but an aesthetically pleasing one.
