I began working on large commercial construction projects for an HVAC company with my father, 2 uncles and cousins when I was 14. Growing up, I would spend each summer learning a new part of the trade. From installing thermostats, to hanging ductwork, to eventually full service and repairs of all types of equipment. After college I relied on the skills I learned as a child to help out friends and family with their hvac systems.
Before long, I was helping out friends of friends, their coworkers and their family. The more the phone rang the more I realized I needed to start my own residential and commercial company in 2003. Clingman Heating and Cooling is still a small company created to help friends. The purpose is not to sell products, meet quotas, or focus on profit. Our prices are set to be below other companies, and our service is designed to help, not sell.
