Owner Yosvany Montesino was born on the Caribbean Island of Cuba.
During the summer of 1994 he, his brother and a third man, made the harrowing 90 mile trip to the United States "aboard" a raft made of inner tubes and 2*4's.
Intercepted by the US Coast Guard, they spent the next 17 months at the US Naval Base in Cuba before gaining legal entry to the US.
Having completed both his Trade School and apprenticeship education, Yovie worked for several years for a large plumbing service provider.
In 2003, with experience under his belt, Yovie's Plumbing & Heating, LLC opened for business.
