Although he has been in the heating and cooling industry since 1986, Randy Hopwood began Hopwoods Heating & Cooling INC in 1999.
Randy grew up on a farm and was always mechanically inclined, but he knew that heating and cooling services were his calling.
He graduated from Ferris State University's HVAC program in 1986.
From then until 1999, he worked as an installer in Traverse City for a 33-employee company with five locations.
Eventually, Randy worked his way up to a service technician, then he became the service manager, and he finally managed the entire company!
