When Henry Hanson opened the family hardware store in the early 1930s in Vergas, MN, it was based on one guiding principle - neighbors helping neighbors.
Times were simpler back then.
Everyone knew your name and you were only as good as your word.
It's no wonder Henry quickly became known around town as "Hardware Hank."
As the company grew and its ownership transitioned from father to son, a second location was established in Perham, expanding the business to HVAC and plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.

I have had them continue to do that for me every year since.
I am not sure what it is, maybe a small town work ethic, but whatever it is, they really work hard to do a great job for you.
Very polite and courteous with you, and they don't overcharge you.

I think they have become a much bigger outfit over the last 45 years by staying true to their roots!
I know I plan on continuing to use Hanson's Plumbing & Heating!
