Services
The old saying "we are copied, but never duplicated" is very accurate about PROTHERM, LLC heaters.
That is because nobody puts as much of themselves into a heater as PROTHERM, LLC does.
We assist you with heater selection, we build with high quality materials for long term reliability, and we stand behind our heaters around the world.
Protherm, LLC electric infrared heaters are proven to be the highest efficiency of each style of heater available.
All PROTHERM, LLC heaters are custom built for each application, but are available and priced as if they were stock items.
Because of short supply and extremely high price of raw materials, Protherm, LLC is discontinuing the Series 40 heater line.
We will continue to offer replacement elements and insulation for existing heaters.
Any requests for new heaters will be directed to our new Series FH heater.
PROTHERM, LLC Series 40 Heaters are efficient.
Medium wavelength infrared strip heaters designed for general industrial heating application.
Highly efficient and effective.
Installed efficiencies exceeding 75% have been proven, reducing energy costs and increasing processing speeds.
Repairable- Glass/Ceramic face, elements, and internal board can be individually replaced as needed, saving you money.
Faster heat to product and higher efficiency heat transfer- IR from internal elements starts transmitting through the glass-ceramic to the part immediately while face and mass temperature stabilize.
Higher quality- High temperature ceramic fiber material is used as internal insulation to reduce back losses for better efficiency.
Terminal boxes- For your convenience and safety, terminal boxes are provided as the standard with lead wires and ceramic wire nuts.
PROTHERM, LLC series CV heaters are efficient, long to medium wavelength infrared panel heaters for rugged industrial heating applications requiring higher watt density and excellent uniformity.
Series CV heaters can be mounted in any direction as long as the internal elements remain horizontal.
Element direction is indicated by an arrow stamped into the back cover and normally run in the long direction.
Element direction can be made across the width, but must be specified at time of order.
We encourage customers to let us know how the heaters are being mounted and applied in new applications so we can assure you get the longest heater life possible.
Protherm, LLC has joined forces with Fannon Products, LLC who manufactures over 1000 different high quality and fairly priced quartz infrared lamps.
We have the ability to install their quality medium-wave and short-wave quartz tubes in heaters and ovens of various sizes and shapes.
All of these quartz tubes can be made in virtually any length, wattage, voltage and with a variety of end terminations.
Fannon uses a "tube in tube" design with an integral gold reflector know as the "Goldenrod" that directs the infrared energy where it is needed.
