Services
Corbett Plumbing & Heating, Inc was established in 1976 as Ed Corbett Plumbing & Heating, LLC by our founder, Ed Corbett.
Our aim was simple - to provide quality domestic plumbing and HVAC services at an affordable price to the general public.
After 30 years of hard work and dedication, Ed Corbett, looking to relax and enjoy life with his wife, children and grandchildren, passed on the company to his two long term employees, Michael DiStefano and Fred Benditt.
Mike and Fred have been with Corbett Plumbing & Heating, Inc. since the 1980's and helped build the company to the success it is today.
First, check the emergency shutoff under your sink to make sure it's fully open.
If rubber washers or seals have begun to deteriorate, you'll also lose water pressure, so check those.
Calcium and lime buildup will also cause low water pressure.
What should I do to take care of my faucets and sinks?
Even small drips can waste thousands of gallons of water, as much as 150 gallons a day!
Be sure to check under sinks for moisture or small leaks.
And always repair leaky faucets right away to avoid paying for wasted water, and also to avoid water damage to your fixtures and pipes.
Please do not attempt to repair your own water heater unless you are a qualified plumbing technician!
Remove the inner and outer burner access covers and Check to see if the pilot light is lit.
If the pilot light will not re-light, the problem could be a clogged pilot line, or gas is not reaching the water heater.
Call for service.
If the pilot light will light but does not stay lit when the gas valve control is released the problem could be a defective or loose thermocouple, or perhaps a faulty gas control valve.
Spray heads fit into the palm of your hand and offer stream-to-spray adjustment with the touch of a button.
If you use a dishwasher, you may prefer a sink with a large single basin.
If you hand wash your dishes, a two or three basin sink may be preferable.
Double or triple basin sinks often feature a separate basin for garbage disposal or recycling.
A prep sink can be a convenient separate work-space in your kitchen greatly improving your efficiency and work flow.
It can provide that needed extra space for food prep, a place for your favorite sous chef to mince the garlic or maybe just a little extra room to chill a bottle of wine.
1 THE LITTLE THINGS START TO GO WRONG - All bathrooms are prone to everyday wear & tear, but some problems require more than a simple repair job.
Depending on the cost of serious repairs, it may make sense to spend a little more and create a brand new bathroom.
2 YOU'RE STUCK IN A RETRO RUT - While it's true that yesterday's trends often resurface, some are best left in the past.
If your bathroom sends you into a time warp, it's due for an update.
3 YOU'RE THINKING OF SELLING YOUR HOME - Making relatively small changes is a smart way to raise your home's value.
