Ductless systems are generally comprised of an outdoor portion (condenser) and indoor portion (air handler).
These two components are connected by wiring and refrigerant lines to make the system function.
For each indoor air handler, there needs to be a relatively small (2.5) wall penetration where the aforementioned refrigerant lines and wiring route from the exterior to the interior of the home.
The penetration is sealed water tight, and covered by a decorative enclosure that looks similar to a gutter.

Studies have shown that indoor air can be up to 5 times MORE polluted than outdoor air.
Most disposable filters remove about 10% of these pollutants allowing 90% to enter the air system.
The pollutants contain dust, pollen, mold spores, animal dander and much more.
These materials collect in the furnace, air conditioner and duct surfaces, just as they do on the furniture and floor surfaces.
The furniture and floor are cleaned regularly but the duct surfaces are hidden from view and can only be reached by specialized duct cleaning equipment.
