Founded in 1990 by Clair and Karen Crandall, Aero Heating & Ventilating, Inc. is now an industry leader in commercial, institutional, and industrial ductwork design and installation. Over the years, Aero has expanded its employee base, capabilities, and production output to meet our customer's demands. In 2017, Aero became an ESOP, an employee owned company, allowing each of our employees to take part and participate in Aero's financial growth and success.

Over the years, Aero has outgrown several ductwork fabrication shops and in 2020, the company moved into our premier office headquarters and fabrication facility in Westbrook, Maine where we continue to innovate and grow into our new space. Aero's combined experience includes ductwork field installation, sheetmetal fabrication, construction site leadership, project management, and CAD coordination.

Our team prides itself in our ability to deliver exceptional results in both design-build and plan-spec projects. Our projects cover a geographic area from mid-Maine to southern New Hampshire, but with a especially strong presence in the Portland metropolitan area.
Services
During the design development phase, we design and provide duct layout drawings.
Duct is routed and sized from the units to the grilles and diffusers to meet project requirements and specifications.
We offer estimation and bidding of sheet metal ductwork and ventilation equipment on commercial plan & spec.
We offer drafting and modeling services ranging from 2D design documents, to fully coordinated 3D projects.
Utilizing the latest versions of Revit, Autocad, and Navisworks, we collaborate with all trades on projects to ensure an efficient & constructible design free of cross-trade conflicts.
What does this mean?
An ESOP (employee stock option plan) is a defined contribution benefit plan that allows employees to earn company stock - or ownership interest - in addition to all the other benefits of employment.
You automatically earn stock just for working; it's up to you to make sure Aero is profitable so the stock is even more valuable.
We look at it as a third facet of retirement (social security and 401K being the other two - and we have a great 401K plan too!), as well as giving everyone a vested interest in the success of Aero!
