Industrial Furnace Interiors
Since 1982, IFI has been committed to the engineering, quality, and delivery of electric heating elements. IFI is a manufacturer of electric heating elements for the heat treat industry. IFI has been designing and supplying heating elements for over 31 years with almost 50 years of experience in the heat treating industry. Material selection, design, and the manufacturing process come together with every heating element made by IFI.

We will work with you to design, replace, or rebuild your heating elements to meet or exceed your requirements.
Services
IFI Bayonets for heat treat furnaces up to 1800°F can be designed for a range of supply voltages and typically don't require transformers.
Compared to gas systems, Bayonets are more efficient (no heat losses), quieter, and typically require less maintenance.
Bayonets can be used with radiant tubes to protect the elements from atmospheric conditions and provide support to prevent deformation.
Standard and custom sizes are available.
Contact us today to discuss a bayonet & radiant tube replacement strategy, or to discuss how we may improve your existing elements.
Radiant element protection tubes are typically used when an atmosphere is present in the furnace.
The tube protects the elements from harsh environments which would otherwise shorten the useful life.
IFI manufactures radiant tubes for electric heating applications.
When you buy radiant tubes from IFI, you are guaranteeing the correct alloy for the application and a perfect fit for your heating elements.
You are also reducing your supply base, which saves you time and money.
Rod or "Rod Overbend" Elements for applications up to 2100°F (and higher with Moly & Tungsten).
We have the capability to make various geometries specific to your application.
Often, the rod elements are kinked to increase the space between the elements and the furnace wall.
We custom design and manufacture mounting provisions (hangers, hooks), and ceramic insulators for securing these elements to the furnace as needed.
